Candis, Jake & Baby B | Portraits

A couple weeks ago, I did a family portrait session with my friend Candis and her finance, Jake, and little baby boy, Brayden, also knows as baby B! All I have to say is absolutely adorable! We went up to the Kinsmen Centre and just had so much fun. Candis was open to all ideas so that made it easy to pose them, or the little man. Brayden is only 4 months old, and oh my so well behaved. He was giving me soo many smiles it was perfect. Candis and Jake make wonderful parents, and they are just in love with their little boy :)

Happy Tuesday!

School

Before I decided to go back to school, I never realized how much work comes with it. I think my thoughts were..... "hey, go back to SMU, take business, and have more opportunities" Well... ha ha, I wish I would of thought about every other little detail first. Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy about being back in school, but all that homework, wow... just not my cup of tea. (especially since I don't even like tea..lol ) I am just not a paper writer. I have been lucky so far on taking classes where there are no papers, but I got one this semster, and it is a big paper. Oh well... I just keep thinkin...I'll be happy when I am done and I pass :)

On other news, I have a couple of shoots coming up with some lovely friends! They are being absolutley amazing, and being models for me to just get out there and shoot, shoot, shoot. Also, my good friend Jenna, has been helping me with desiging my business cards and logo for my photos :) Sooo excited! I'll keep you posted on that, and im sure my logo will be popping up on some photos soon!

Well.. its about that time, I can hear my bed calling me! Can't wait until my head hits the pillow.

Something I was trying out today... didn't turn out how I planned, but I wanted to show ya'll anyways!!

Jaedyn

Last Saturday, I had a wonderful opportunity to attend the birth of baby Jaedyn. Her mom, Reielle, is my younger sister bestest friend (and i mean, they don't leave each others side), and she was almost two weeks over due. Even more excitement, is Reielle did not know what she was having, so even though she was going through some fustration because of a lengthy labour (been there, done that), she was anxious to know if she was welcoming in a beautiful baby boy, or a beautiful baby girl!

This was my first time in room to witness a birth, and even though it was nothing like I expected, I hope it is not my last.

Water Babies

Since I am new to this, it is hard to keep up and make sure i post on the days that I do these shoots, I gotta have post-it notes around the computer saying "BLOG" so I make sure I do these everyday!

I have a couple things to post about, but I'll just start off with WATER BABIES :)

My sister, being a new aunt, to my beautiful little boy, offered to help me take him out to a near by park to get some practice and some cute photos of him, and her together! It turned out to be a great day, and for anyone who knows Liam, he can not stay away from the water. We took him down by the lake to dip his little toes in, but it wasn't having just that. Wanted to keep going further and futher.. (basically trying to get me a heart attack).

He is going to be a swimmer alright!

I am going to post a couple photos I took from that shoot, and I PROMISE I will have more tomorrow on another shoot I did with a close friend of mine :) Gotta Love Kids and Friends
